Our Crantock holiday park is perfectly located to enjoy all the best that Cornwall has to offer, from gorgeous beaches, great walks and mouth-watering eateries, there is so much to enjoy just a short distance from our holiday park.

 

Walking in Cornwall is a fantastic way to see the beautiful countryside and magnificent coastline. Our holiday park is only half a mile from Cubert Common which can be reached easily by following our quiet country lanes. Once through the gate onto the common you are surrounded by wonderful views and straight away you will see Polly Joke up ahead.

 

The coastline surrounding this area is spectacular! The coastal footpath runs from West Pentire down through Crantock and Holywell and all the way to Perranporth. This footpath is the most fascinating way to see the beauty of this area. At West Pentire you can see whole fields of deep red poppies. Beautiful butterflies, around the Holywell dunes and seals and dolphins close to the rocks.

The Ganel Estuary and Crantock stroll

From the bus stop, take the lane to the right. Follow the lane up to the top of the hill and over the stone stile. Cross the field and climb over a stone stile on the other side before turning left down the lane.
Here you pass Penpol Farm on the left, before finding the Coast path sign. Take this path through the kissing gate, across the field and a copse alongside Penpol Creek. At another kissing gate you will emerge from the wood to views across the Gannel Estuary. Keep the estuary on your right and take in the natural delights of this beautiful protected area.
Follow the path up a gentle climb to be rewarded with stunning views across Crantock Beach and the Atlantic beyond. The path then continues until dropping to Crantock Beach car park.
